The application allows people who are in welfare groups/Saccos as members to be able to activate their accounts with Jisort cash, To activate the account the member's phone number will need to have been registered in advance in our back end system by the welfare administrator or a Sacco administrator.
Once the member has logged in they have a variety of things that they can do.
1.) They can pay bills direct to mpesa pay bill numbers for the suppliers of specific items like KPLC
2.) Schedule bills that get paid automatically without further interventions.
3.) They can advance cash and other utilities
The Sacco / welfare pays on behalf of the member then the member repays at the end of the month or before month end.
The member's group/Sacco has a back end reporting system that can be used to assist in payment deductions, However the repayment can be done voluntarily by the member.
The member can also pay bills direct on credit and later on pay at the end of a prescribed period or earlier.
